 Posted: Mon Jul 07, 2008 10:16 am Post subject: 4v4 Class Specific Tournament Sign Ups |

Rules:
~No tanks
~No glitching
~No turrets
~No specials
~1 of each class, MUST wear a class tag and CANNOT switch from the class for the entire battle
~G for grunt, S for sniper, R for rocket, and E for engineer (ex. {Delta}*E or {Delta}-E)
~May be single or double elimination - TBD
~One clan, one team, no set rosters. (ex. LSJ uses {Delta}, LAK, Scarz, and Kuruma first match; then uses Big_Al, Nemesis, Fantasia, and {Delta} the second match)
~1 spectator is recommended, if the battle is disputed, and I cannot judge who really won, it will be redone
~You have 1 week to complete the battle, NO EXTENSIONS unless under dire curcumstances, you may not always have your best lineup possible
~Any clan who fails to finish this tournament will be put on a probation here at the Battlefront Community
~Leaders mic on listen to everyone, talk to current for both teams, everyone else, listen to current, talk to current (reduces senseless chatter)
~Spectators mic must be off
Server Specs:
~All server specs are optional, but if no decision can be made by both teams, these will be enforced
~No Jedis
~Award Guns on
~Spawn invincibility set at 2 seconds
~Admin messages off
~Admin countdown
~Lagless server (contact me if you need to use one, I'll try to set you up with one)
~If no lagless available - use a neutral server, and perform a lag test BEFORE starting

Leader: Fusion
AIM Screenname: Schust27 (am not on very much)
Suggestions: the ref should be from an unbiased clan (ex. not clan that participates in the tournament) just to make it fair.
i have a few Questions:
1) my class tag is always worn with me no matter where i go, its on my screen name: -MERC-Fusion{<*G*>} is that fine with u?
2) why so serious? the probation for not finishing is going a bit overboard
3) is the MERC server fine, considering that its perfectly set up to do a clan battle. the only things that are changed are:
A) no tanks (good)
B) no space walking (u just die twice as fast outside)
C) darkies bothans and all cheap specials are 40 pts (not really a problem)
D) comma autoboot (when i have my admin working, i have devised a way to ban a comma word)
E) major glitches were removed
F) death star reinforcement glitch has been fixed
4) we kinda do some wierd chatter on the mic with each other, does that count against us?

Class tag - fine. Serious, clans always bail out on tournaments, it's annoying, if you own a lagless fine. Chatter I don't care.
