| did u site what i had posted about the lay offs,there is no doubt that it is in the works....no release date though...i would say that lucus arts or the current develpers of the next battle rfront edition would had to have said something to amozon to make them take it down,the swbf 3 and another game is trying to be kept hush-hush..... |

Its Called an Embargo. NO ONE was supposed to know about Battlefront 3 Until E3. Some one at Amazon put the product up for pre-order a week to early.

Actually Lucas Arts is one of the only big devs there this year. Many game developing companys droped out of the event.

If it is, it does kind of go with when LucasArts wants to shut down the SWBF2 servers.. Which is between March and April 2009...

 lol. the 1st of summer last year I called LucasArts (our clan had a contact) and they said the Same exact thing except it might be this summer (meaning last) And the first day Of summer the servers were down half of the day. Anyways Im sure they will be taken down eventually but look at it this way: Jedi Knight Outcast that I play frequently still has server up and its going on 5 years now. The battlefronts have been out 4 years I believe. So I don't think any clans should really worry. My advice MOVE ON! Seriously get to know next gen systems so your prepared. Im sure it will be on PS2 but why not get the full experience?
I will try my hardest once we get more info on BF3 to call devs and send many emails to get information for you guys. Ive done it before and I wil do it again.
